Default A small scythe dilemma

Before I beat NF with my dervish, I had a deathbringer. The -10 armor thing was offset by runes I had so the constant 15% was always nice.
But Now I have an Eyes of the Forgotten scythe, solving much needed energy troubles (Personally i think Zealous stuff is good for any and all classes...)
But I customized my DB, making it pretty worthless now, and now I never use it! And I could sell the EotF for around 25-40k (something in that range?) which would also give me enough money to finish buying my ancient armor set.

so, in short:

1) Do I customize the EotF? And if so WTF do i do with the Deathbringer?
2) Should i sell the EotF and keep the DB?

I hope to get some insight on this.

I do currently have them both in a weaponset. But I *never* use the deathbringer now.
Did you not read that?

give the deathbringer to Melonni, she can use it, customized for you or not (provided it's the Melonni of the character that did the customizing)

Then just trash it. Its pretty much worthless anyway.

And as a Dervish you should always be using 15% enchanted in PvE.

And you definitely need more than one weapon............

So you're still saying the EotF is better?
That info helps my decision.

My suggestion would be to get a better scythe if you run a derv that maintains enchantments, you'd be better off with a vamp scythe of enchanting.

If you use a derv that strips his own enchants, then maybe the EotF is marginally acceptable.

Give the Deathbringer to Melonni, or use a critical scythe build on Zenmai if it just eats up storage space. Merching it also works.

I'm not going to warp my current build like you suggest o_O Plus I hate vampiric mods of all kinds. Unless I have a massive AoE thing, vamp = death.

I may give it to melonni, since every now and then I might help a bud out with Jokanur diggings (where melonni is required.)

Well really the only green scythe that is good for a Dervish is Dwayna's Grace for Vow of Strength builds.

For PvE, which I assume this is, you really want 3 scythes:

5/1 Vamp +15% enchanted of 20% enchanting ~ suits most PvE Dervish builds
1/1 Zealous +15% enchanted of 20% enchanting ~ swap when you need energy
Ebon +15% enchanted of 20% enchanting ~ Ebon Dust Aura builds, use when attacking warriors, also swap to between battles

i did the same thing with Suli's scythe when it dropped -- i figured it was as good as it was gonna get.....then i built my energy +5 Zealous Scythe of Enchanting along with a couple of others. and i never touch the thing....so i gave to meloni it takes it keeps it im my inventory and i know she has a decent weapon on the occasions when i do use her...so just give it to meloni is what im saying.
